An excellent restaurant! The food is superb. I have taken one star away because the restaurant is small and cramped, but this should in no way deter you from enjoying the hospitality and food of this unique place.I have been there twice and thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. All the food is good, but I do caution that the bitter leaf dishes are, at least for me, an acquired taste.Highly recommended.

One of the better West African restaurants in the DC area, we eat here every time we're in Silver Spring. Reasonably priced and as authentic as can be hoped with the ingredients and food safety laws of this country. Highly recommend the groundnut stew with pounded yam and goat

I went here to order takeout for the 1st time and I had a wonderful experience as a 1st time customer. The cashier was very friendly and Patrick (Manager) is over all a great warm friendly guy. The food was delicious, authentic, great size potions, and reasonable prices. Will definitely come here again.

We sat outdoors which was a rare treat. The servers were polite and at your beck and call. The owner, a personable Togolese native came by and chatted with the patrons. I ordered the grilled Tilapia which came with acheke. Big helpings guaranteed that I was taking home a doggy bag. I live in Baltimore and I can honestly say it was worth the trip.

First time visiting an authentic African restaurant. The owner suggest a stew and it was very tasty and good size portion. Will be going back to try the roasted fish.

Awesome customer service and tasty balanced diet...the food garnishing is breathtaking....I will definitely go back....though the pepoersoup isn't like our Nigerian Igbo pepoersoup....but it's still ok.....bought egusi also and fufu, though I have not eaten that, bit the aroma alone will keep you salivating.....metre parking, but the quality food is worth the stress

I am a regular at this neighborhood jewel. It's a cozy spot with a lot of character! The food is very affordable with most of the dishes being under $15. When I am craving a home-cooked meal and don't feel like cooking, I go here. I've had the jollof rice, limbe beef, roasted fish, sautéed spinach, fufu, and I'm sure several other dishes. The food is always fresh and served hot. Mr. Patrick and his staff are awesome hosts. I highly encourage a visit to Roger Miller. #CityExperts

Owner Patrick, treats his customers like family..the food has been consistently delicious..well prepared & cooked to order. Roasted Tilapia with Jellof Rice and the House Veg... spinach.Not fast food call ahead so order is prepared with little or no wait at a reasonable price! Expect DELICIOUSNESS!😊

The food was delicious and the owner made me feel like I was his own daughter. We drove down from Pennsylvania and he gave us free snacks for the ride home. It was such a wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back.

Clean and nice food

I got food today and there was a misunderstanding about one of the menu items. The food is always good. Just be sure when you order something to ask how it's prepared if you're not of African descent.

My first time, I went for something unconventional and I wasn't disappointed. Trying the "jollof" rice the second day was an astonishing experience. I was stunned by how much details were put into the preparation. Thanks for the experience! It's a pity I couldn't take a picture.

Godly staff passionate Chef whom cares about healthyness of entres he cooks also portions are generous than all restaurants I've frequented consistent and all around delicious food.

Exquisite West African food you can taste in this place. My expectations were high. The food to the point of taste, fresh and very good. Good friendly staff and helps you when choosing any dish, giving recommendations of the same. Comfortable place to dine.

ordered shrimp egusi and there wqsnt a single shrimp inside.it was also not even egusi but spinach with little egusi here and thereif u like Nigerian food try 5 sisters instead. they are a little better

I enjoy coming here. I like the variety of West African dishes available. The service is always great and the staff is friendly. I'm picky about my Egusi but this place hits the spot. This is a long time relic in Silver Spring and I think this spot deserves to stick around. If you're ever in the area, definitely check it out.

This is not much of a place if you're looking for ambiance bit if you're looking for delicious authentic african cuisine and a friendly staff this is the place. We got a huge order a little of everything and nothing disappointed. I even got a call from the owner later that night just to make sure our meal was up to par. Good on ya roger miller!

Love it! I always get food when I can. I hate that they sell their suya per stick and it is 1 stick for $3.00 with 3 pieces of suya so 1 piece of meat for $1.00! If there was a place closer I would have gone. The customer service is good tho' and they are really nice.

Food was ok. Service was amazing. We were treated like royalties. That little space outside would be fun in summertime.

The food was very salty. We ordered vegetarian options and the spinach was the best part. Everything else tastes like bland veggies covered in a salty sauce. The rice was good and had nice flavor.

Went with my wife and son...low key friendly... family and friends atmosphere.

He ever I visit MD , my go to African restaurant is Roger Miller. Food is great and the great customer service.

The atmosphere is relaxing . They have amazing Egusi . Patrick is very personable about his customers . Extremely wonderful and caring workers . I would highly recommend this restaurant . Prices are reasonable .

I go to silver springs about twice a year and Roger Miller's is always a place I make sure to go. This is a great little hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Make sure to get the fufu when you do go.

Live music, generous portions, delicious chicken, great sauce, friendly owner.

Grilled chicken, shrimp, and beef with spinach and fried rice...... THE BOMB!!! So much flavor and portions are perfect I will return

It's hard to find restaurants in this area with great West African cuisine. This is it! Reasonable prices and great selections.

Extremely reasonably priced West African food

Last week was our first time we went to this place. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the courteous service, with the great dishes and fine drinks and with the comfortable price. We will surely come back soon.
